Section 142. Special meetings

Special meetings of the commission may be called by any member on such occasions as may be reasonably necessary to carry out the duties of the commission. Except in instances where a special meeting is scheduled at a regular meeting, the chairman shall cause to be mailed to all members, at least five days in advance of a special meeting, a written notice specifying the time, place and purpose of the special meeting. Notice of special meetings shall be announced appropriately on the Virginia Regulatory Town Hall and the Commonwealth Calendar.
