Section 150. Minutes of meetings and hearings

  • Minutes shall be recorded for each public meeting held by the commission. The minutes shall include a brief summary of comments on major issues under consideration and concise and specific statements of all action taken by the commission. The minutes shall be provided to each commission member for reading and editing prior to approval at a subsequent commission meeting. There need be no actual reading of the minutes at the meeting, but a vote shall be taken for the formal approval of the minutes as written or amended. Copies of the minutes of public meetings shall be made available to any interested party at a price sufficient to cover the expense incurred or on the Virginia Regulatory Town Hall and the commission's Internet website.
