Section 1190. Temperature measuring devices; ambient air and water

Latest version.

A. Ambient air and water temperature measuring devices that are scaled in Fahrenheit or dually scaled in Fahrenheit and Celsius shall be designed to be easily readable and scaled in 3°F increments and accurate to ±3°F in the intended range of use.^Pf

B. Ambient air and water temperature measuring devices that are scaled only in Celsius shall be scaled in 1.5°C increments and accurate to ±1.5°C in the intended range of use.^Pf
