Name of Petitioner: Sandra Gedney Anderson.
Nature of Petitioner's Request: That the board provide the names of persons who have earned their supervisory qualifications in order for residents to find a supervisor.
Agency Plan for Disposition of Request: The petition will be published in the Register of Regulations and sent to persons on the public participation guidelines listing for the board with a request for comment. Following the close of comment on August 30, 2012, the board will consider whether it has statutory authority to have a registry of qualified supervisors.

Title of Regulation: 18VAC115-50. Regulations Governing the Practice of Marriage and Family Therapy.
Statutory Authority: § 54.1-2400 of the Code of Virginia.
Name of Petitioner: Julia Sayre for the Virginia Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.
Nature of Petitioner's Request: To clarify that board approval of registraion will be provided in writing with the date of registration of supervision to be effective 30 days from the initial receipt of the applicant's request.
Agency Plan for Disposition of Request: The petition will be published on July 30, 2012, with comment requested until August 29, 2012. It will also be placed on the Virginia Regulatory Townhall and available for comments to be posted electronically. At its first meeting following the close of comment, which is scheduled for November 16, 2012, the board will consider the request to amend the regulations and all comment received in support or opposition.

Notice of Intended Regulatory Action
Notice is hereby given in accordance with § 2.2-4007.01 of the Code of Virginia that the Board of Agriculture and Consumer Services intends to consider amending 2VAC5-440, Rules and Regulations for Enforcement of the Virginia Pest Law - Cotton Boll Weevil Quarantine. The purpose of the proposed action is to more accurately reflect the agency's current practices and procedures related to the cotton boll weevil quarantine. This Notice of Intended Regulatory Action serves as the report of the findings of the regulatory review pursuant to § 2.2-4007.1 of the Code of Virginia.
The agency does not intend to hold a public hearing on the proposed action after publication in the Virginia Register.
