PROFESSIONAL AND OCCUPATIONAL LICENSINGVIRGINIA BOARD FOR ASBESTOS, LEAD, AND HOME INSPECTORSChapter 30Notice of Intended Regulatory ActionNotice is hereby given in accordance with § 2.2-4007.01 of the Code of Virginia that the Virginia Board for Asbestos, Lead, and Home Inspectors intends to consider amending 18VAC15-30, Virginia Lead-Based Paint Activities Regulations. The purpose of the proposed action is to allow a licensee or an accredited lead training provider to renew a license or accredited lead training program up to 12 months after the expiration of the license or accreditation without penalty of reapplying as a new applicant. The board may identify additional areas for amendment or elimination of regulations in accordance with the Governor's Regulatory Reform Initiative.
The agency intends to hold a public hearing on the proposed action after publication in the Virginia Register.
Statutory Authority: § 54.1-501 of the Code of Virginia.
