TRANSPORTATION AND MOTOR VEHICLESCOMMISSION ON THE VIRGINIA ALCOHOL SAFETY ACTION PROGRAMChapter 50Notice of Intended Regulatory ActionNotice is hereby given in accordance with § 2.2-4007.01 of the Code of Virginia that the Commission on the Virginia Alcohol Safety Action Program intends to consider promulgating the following regulations: 24VAC35-50, VASAP Training and Accrediting Manual. The purpose of the proposed action is to outline the minimum hiring standards (education, experience and job skills) for alcohol safety action program directors, case managers, facilitators, and support staff. Annual training requirements for the same employees will be covered.
The agency does not intend to hold a public hearing on the proposed action after publication in the Virginia Register.
Statutory Authority: § 18.2-271.2 of the Code of Virginia.
Public Comments: Public comments may be submitted until 5 p.m. on February 4, 2009.
