Section 20. Purpose; delegation of authority; effective date of permit

A. This general permit regulation governs the discharge of wastewater from seafood processing facilities and stormwater associated with industrial activity from seafood processing facilities classified as SIC Code 2091 and 2092.

B. The director, or an authorized representative, may perform any act of the board provided under this regulation, except as limited by § 62.1-44.14 of the Code of Virginia.

C. This general permit will become effective on July 24, 2016, and will expire on July 23, 2021. For any covered owner, this general permit is effective upon compliance with all the provisions of 9VAC25-115-30.
