Section 730. Right to counsel and transcript

A license holder shall have the right, at his own expense, to be represented by an attorney or other representative at the local school board hearing provided for in 8VAC20-22-690 F , the investigative panel hearing provided for in 8VAC20-22-740 A, or in the proceedings before the Board of Education, as specified in 8VAC20-22-740 A . The hearing before the local school board and the investigative panel hearing provided in 8VAC20-22-740A shall be recorded, and upon written request, the license holder shall be provided a transcript of the hearing at his own expense. Any such hearing before a local school board and any hearing before the Board of Education shall be recorded; and, upon written request, the party charged shall be provided a hearing transcript without charge.
