Section 400. Payment of fines

A. Citation fines must be paid or appealed within 10 working days from the date the ticket is issued.

B. The owner or operator of a wheellocked vehicle must pay any outstanding fines and the additional wheellock fee ($20) before the wheellock will be removed. Unauthorized removal or tampering with a wheellock may result in criminal prosecution. Vehicles wheellocked in excess of 48 hours will be towed to a private, licensed garage, and held until the owner presents a paid receipt from the college for outstanding fines, proof of ownership of the vehicle and payment of the towing fee. In addition, the garage may also charge a storage fee.
