Pursuant to the provisions of § 9.1-102 (10) of the Code of Virginia, the board establishes the categories of training as listed below as the compulsory minimum training standards for dispatchers:
1. Category 1 - Communications.
2. Category 2 - Judgment.
3. Category 3 - Legal Issues.
4. Category 4 - Professionalism.
5. Category 5 - On-the-Job Training.
