Section 140. Possession and display of a harvest information program registration number to hunt

Latest version.

Every person required to obtain a harvest information program registration number to hunt must carry the registration number on his person when hunting and shall present it immediately upon demand of any officer whose duty it is to enforce the game and inland fish laws. The penalty for violation of this section is prescribed by § 29.1-505 of the Code of Virginia.
