Section 10. Restrictions upon sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages

  • A. Except as may be otherwise permitted under subdivision 7 of § 4.1-200 of the Code of Virginia, no licensee shall sell any alcoholic beverage to a person whom he shall know, or have reason at the time to believe, is:

    1. Under the age of 21 years;

    2. Intoxicated; or

    3. An interdicted person.

    B. No licensee shall allow the consumption of any alcoholic beverage upon his licensed premises by any person to whom such alcoholic beverage may not lawfully be sold under this section.
