Section 20. Plant nutrients in addition to nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium

Other plant nutrients, when claimed in any written, printed, or graphic matter, shall be registered and guaranteed on the package; or if in bulk, on the accompanying invoice or delivery slip. Guarantees shall be made on the elemental basis. Sources of the guaranteed elements and proof of their availability shall be provided to the commissioner upon request. Except guarantees for those water soluble nutrients labeled for ready to use foliar fertilizers, ready to use specialty liquid fertilizers, hydroponic or continuous liquid feed programs and guarantees for horticultural growing media, the minimum percentages that will be accepted as guarantees or for registration are as follows:

Proposed labels and directions for use of the fertilizer shall be furnished with the application for registration. Warning or caution statements are required on the label for any product which contains 0.001% or more of molybdenum. Any of the above listed elements which are guaranteed shall appear in the order listed, immediately following guarantees for the primary nutrients nitrogen, phosphorous, and potassium.
