Section 10. List of differentiated speed limits (filed by description with the Registrar of Regulations)

  • Description: The Commissioner of Highways or other authority may increase or decrease speed limits and may differentiate speed limits for daytime and nighttime driving effective only when prescribed after a traffic engineering investigation and when indicated on the highway by signs. These limits shall be effective only when prescribed in writing by the Commissioner of Highways and kept on file in the Central Office of the Department of Transportation. The regulations listing the differentiated speed limits comply with the above requirements.
