Section 60. Duration of registrations and permits

All registrations and permits issued under § 63.1-167 of the Code of Virginia and regulations shall be valid for one year only, but they may be renewed upon application in writing made to the department not less than 60 days prior to the expiration of such year. If application for renewal is not made at least 60 days prior to such expiration, the renewal may be withheld for 60 days following such application.
