Section 960. First aid certification and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)

  • Part VIII. Emergency Preparedness

    There shall be at least one staff member trained in first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation on the premises during the center's hours of operation and also one person on field trips and whenever participants are in care. This person shall be available to participants and shall:

    1. Have current certification in first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation by the American Red Cross, American Heart Association, National Safety Council, or other designated program approved by the Department of Social Services; or

    2. Be an R.N. or L.P.N. with a current license from the Board of Nursing.
