The board is authorized to license clinical psychologists, applied psychologists, and school psychologists, including school psychologists-limited in cooperation with the Board of Education, and to promulgate regulations for the voluntary certification of its licensees as sex offender treatment providers and the mandatory certification of certain other professionals as sex offender treatment providers.
