  • Section 38.2-316 of the Code of Virginia states that life, accident and sickness and annuity forms are "deemed" approved if such forms are not approved or disapproved in writing within 30 days after the forms have been "filed with the Commission." Section 38.2-3725 provides that credit life and accident and sickness forms shall not be issued or used until the expiration of 30 days after such forms have been filed with the Commission. Forms are filed with the Commission on the date the Commission receives the filing. All forms filed will be reviewed for approval in the order received.
