Section 330. Issuance of the inspection statement

Upon satisfactory completion of the requirements of 12VAC5-630-310, 12VAC5-630-320, 12VAC5-630-370, 12VAC5-630-430 and 12VAC5-630-440, the commissioner shall issue an inspection statement to the owner. The issuance of an inspection statement does not denote or imply any warranty or guarantee by the department that the private well will function for any specified period of time. It shall be the responsibility of the owner or any subsequent owner to maintain, repair, replace, or to comply with the requirements to abandon any private well.
