Section 130. Suspension

Latest version.
  • If, in the case of a manmade or natural disaster, the commissioner finds that certain regulations cannot be complied with and that the public health is better served by access to semiregulated or nonregulated water supplies than by the closing of those affected supplies, he may suspend the application of the chapter for specific affected localities and institute a provisional regulatory scheme until the disaster is abated.
