Section 280. When prize payable for "life"

  • If a prize is advertised as payable for the life of the winner, unless there is a cash option available selected by the winner or winners at the time a claim is made, the prize will be payable in installments, in accordance with the rules for the specific game, for the lifetime of the winner . When the prize is won by two or more persons on a single ticket, each winner's share of the prize shall expire upon his death, unless otherwise specified in the game rules.
